Photo Selection
Choose a high-quality photo that captures the subject's personality. Please select a photograph taken on a digital camera (not a phone) that is nice and close up. If you are providing photos taken by a professional photographer, then I will need the digital files provided by the photographer. Multiple pictures from various angles are also helpful to give me a better sense of the subject. The larger, sharper, and clearer the photo reference, the better the final portrait will be. Next Steps
After selecting a photograph and choosing size and paper color, a 50% deposit will be collected. Please view and download my Price Sheet here. Once the deposit is secured and drawing commences, I will email you digital updates on the progression of the piece. I believe that communication is the key to a successful portrait. It is valuable to have input from the person who knows the subject best and I don't consider the portrait done until you are happy with it. The waiting time varies depending on time of year and current commitments. It is always a good idea to reach out as soon as possible.
Custom framing options are also available upon request.
Upon Completion
Once the drawing is complete, I will send you digital images including high resolution scans to share with family and friends. After receiving payment, I will carefully wrap and ship your piece along with detailed Care Instructions. Once shipped, I will provide you with the tracking number and an estimated arrival date.
